Cost assessments should take into account downtime losses (the operating impact of MTTG/MTTR).
To reduce the pressure on remote links, it is recommended to deploy caching (Redis/proxy), CDN acceleration, and compressed transmission on the server side to reduce duplicate requests and bandwidth usage. For static resources and large files, use sharded upload/download and breakpoint resume to improve transmission stability and reduce peak bandwidth demand.
Based on Malaysia's CN2 evaluation and combined with the above strategies, a long-term bandwidth and fault contingency plan can be formed: first establish a baseline through quantitative evaluation, then design multi-link redundancy and BGP strategies according to business criticality, combined with comprehensive monitoring, automation, and regular drills.
